Just minutes away from Hotel Le Mareuil, is located one of the most creative restaurants of the moment: Korus. Opened by Didier Feuillet, Yann and Afrae Brasseur, this restaurant offers a cooking turned towards spices and vegetables, at the same time crook, greedy and instinctive. Very creative, the Chef Evan Leichtling does not hesitate to associate unexpected flavours just like when the celeriac ends up in a white chocolate whipped cream! In the restaurant, we found his two longstanding accomplices, Yann and Afrae Brasseur, both bringing in a real sense of good humour during service hours. Regarding the menus, which are entirely changed every week to highlight the duck, served with cocoa and beetroot, the spare rib, complemented by parsley root, horseradish, blueberry and boletus or the butternut, available as a desert with coconut and passion fruit. Korus also proposes several atmospheres: the zinc bar to taste tapas and cocktails, the restaurant where are served the different menus, and finally the great hosts’ table where Evan Leichtling unveils his creativity through a tasting menu, giving him carte blanche.
