Right by Bastille and a few metro stations away from the hotel Mareuil, there is a nugget that will delight all cocoa lovers: La Chocolaterie by Cyril Lignac. The starred Chef decided to open this artisanal chocolate shop in front of his bistro named Le Chardenoux, in the 11th arrondissement of Paris. He called on BE-PÔLES agency to make both a friendly and gourmet place. Thus, a large guest table encourages to take time on the spot, enjoy a hot chocolate or a marble cake. A long counter displays the 15 varieties of bars concocted with love. Some navy blue tones, copper and ceramic tiles make the whole place warmer. To make his delicacies, the Chef is surrounded by his longtime friend and associate, Pastry Chef Benoît Couvrand. Together, they create cakes (tart or chocolate éclair etc.), pastries (pain au chocolat) or some cocoa bars for every moment of the day. This is a shop that can be visited between two cultural visits, for a shopping break, at breakfast or as a snack with friends, family or even as a couple!
Open every day from 8am to 8pm.
Cakes: from €4.50 to €5.50.
Breakfast formula: €10.
