With the theme ‘Urban landscapes: at the heart of solutions for the future’, the 13th edition of Jardins, Jardin intends to revegetate the cities! In front of climate change, humans have to revise their relationships with nature and find solutions to reoxygenate the planet. For this, a 100 exhibitors meet curious people to present them innovations to make the city greener. Revegetated roofs or facades—like at the hotel Mareuil—creating rooftop gardens or shared gardens to produce local fruits and vegetables, everything is designed to transform urban people’s lives. From next June 2nd to 5th, numerous conferences and activities will be suggested—and notably workshops—within the Tuileries Gardens where the event will be held. As for every edition, 30 famous or in their early career landscapers have redesigned some balconies, gardens or terraces where nature seems to reassert itself.
