Focus on Café de la Danse and Café de la Gare in Paris

Paris is a cultural capital city with numerous concert and performance venues, all competing to attract the public. We have selected two for you: Café de la Danse and Café de la Gare have caught our attention for their history and programming.

Le Café de la Danse
This concert hall seats 500 people and is located at the heart of the Bastille quarter. Its size allows performers and public closer proximity. Rock, electro or folk, styles are all represented. The café also welcomes photograph exhibits.

Le Café de la Gare
This dinner theatre is the most well-known in Paris and was founded by Miou-Miou, Coluche and Martin Lamotte. First located near the Montparnasse train station, the café is now found rue du Temple in the Marais quarter. This venue specializes in comedies, and the lovely patio on the paved courtyard is the ideal place to enjoy lunch or a cocktail.
