Argone’s naturally Parisian stay at Hotel Mareuil

Remember when we announced the winner of our Christmas drawing last January? It had been organized via our Twitter account. Just about a week ago, our winner, a blogger from A taste of my life named Argone, released pictures of her naturally Parisian stay at Hotel Mareuil on both Twitter and Instagram. These pictures show her cozy bedroom and the deco that she so loved, as well as the view on Paris’ rooftops from the 6th floor room. Argone also enjoyed the food at Mareuil, with a well-balanced and colorful breakfast including fresh fruit and freshly squeezed orange juice. We hope her pictures and experience inspire you to come stay with us!

La Villette celebrates Street Culture

Well known for urban culture, La Villette is host to a Street Festival this coming May 30 through June 1st. All forms of street culture will be represented: dance, art, fashion, food. Originating from hip hop, the festival now embraces all current forms of urban culture, as a testimony to an everchanging society. For 3 days, the Grande Halle will be home to free hip hop dance workshops (as well as break, popping, etc…), as well as beatbox, skate board, or the art of movement with the participation of the Yamasaki. Food trucks will be found on site to allow hungry strollers to continue their walk among Street Culture fashion booths, or go admire the 2 graffiti frescos produced for the festival. Two highly anticipated concerts featuring greats of American hip hop will take place on May 30 and 31: the stage will welcome Public Ennemy, as well as KRS-One and Pusha-T. Among other animations, you will also be able to enjoy dance battles.
