The Antoine Theater presents you two new plays!

What would be a stay in Paris without a night at the theater? For that purpose, we selected to plays you can’t miss, at the Antoine Theater, at the heart of the 10th district of the capital.

“Address Unknown”, a story for the less moving
You will here sit in a dramatic play by Kressmann Taylor, adapted by Michele Levy-Bram and directed by Delphine de Malherbe. “Address unknown” offers an exchange of 19 letters between two men (played by Gerard Darmon and Charles Bering) bound by an unbreakable friendship. One is German; the other is an American Jew. Everything takes place during the rise of Nazism and the growing tension is more and more palpable during the show. You, spectator, will testify the boom of fascism and will be lead to be in one of the character’s shoes in the same context. A shattering performance.

From February 6th to march 2nd, Gerard Darmon and Charles Bering will play the lead characters, before Jean Benguigui and Martin Lamotte take their place from march 5th to march 30th. Finally, Ariel Wisman and François Rollin will be the main actors from April 2nd to April 27th, 2013.
Rates: from 13 to 34€.

“An hour of tranquility”, a hilarious comedy!
We strongly recommend you this Florian Zeller’s play, directed by Ladislas Chollet with Fabrice Luchini as the main character. Michel, a lover of jazz music, just found a rare record that he intends to listen calmly in his sofa. However, the whole world apparently decided against this. Between his wife, his son, his neighbor or his mistress, no one seems to want to leave him alone. But Michel, a huge manipulator, will be ready to try everything to obtain only “an hour of tranquility”. It is far from being a success…

From February 22nd to may 2nd, 2013
Rates: from 21 to 66€

Gourmet break at Rosa Bonheur, in Buttes Chaumont

True institution of the Buttes Chaumont Park, the restaurant Rosa Bonheur is a classified tapas bar. It was built in 1867, the same time as the “green ling” of the capital.

An ideal place to nibble or have a drink
It is in a very relaxed and friendly ambiance that you will be able to taste tapas, hot meals and drinks inside this beautiful pavilion or outside, with your friends or your loved one. From the beginning of October until the end of April, it is a restaurant and then when summer starts it becomes a bar where everyone serves himself or herself at the counter. The menu evolves with the seasons and the Chef’s mood! What is healthier and nicer than eating organic vegetables and cheeses right in the middle of the Buttes Chaumont Park, famous for being the capital’s biggest park? And that’s not all! You can also come at dusk, as the place becomes a nightclub from 10p.m to midnight. Its evenings are extremely successful, so we advice you not to come too late if you want to avoid the queue.

A tribute to a lady
The Rosa Bonheur’s name comes from a famous painter of the 19th century, famous for her animal paintings. A face of feminism, she was the first woman to receive the Legion of Honor in 1865. Proudly claiming her homosexuality, she left her temper to the place, known for its gay friendly and open-minded attitude.

Open Tuesday to Sunday from 12p.m to 12a.m.
