The big cultural event of the year is back. A lot of culture and a lot of History are planned on September 15th and 16th 2012 for the European Heritage Days. The Mareuil Blog made a short selection of places to visit for the weekend to come near the hotel!
1/ The Théâtre Déjazet
On Sunday at 11am, come at the theater you’ll be welcome by the director himself. Then, Benoit Pastisson will guide you through the place, talkin about the decor and the architecture, followed by Dominique Delord, whom will tell you more about the 19th Century artists.

2/ La Maison des Métallos
In the heart of the Ménilmontant-Oberkampf area, this place has a social and factory work background which is 2 centuries old. It is now dedicated to art and there’s a café where we can see concerts and assist to readings. You will be able to follow guided visits made by a comedian (Antoine Romana) who will bring you to the undergrounds, to the showroom, to the technical zone and more! You will also see an exhibition of photographs about this metallurgy house’s past.
