Created over a century ago, the Café Charbon is without a doubt the institution of the Parisian East, and most precisely of the 11th district. We gather amongst friends to drink coffee early in the morning, sip a cocktail at the end of the day, or simply for snacking. With its Second Empire décor, it gives off a warm and friendly atmosphere, auspicious to do some bonding. Impossible to resist to its woodworks, typical of Parisian bistros, to its period mosaic floors, and even to its bar counter, one of the longest of the capital! The place is also richly brightened up by objects worthy of an organized curiosity shop. On Sundays, we come here to brunch between friends before heading out to discover Paris!
